About

I grew up in a small town surrounded by mountains and nature; influenced in sports by my parents and in visual arts by my uncle. These strong influences awakened my interest and desire to become a photographer from an early age and explore the world through the images.

Since I was 16, I began to experiment with photography and met several people, some of them over time became close friends. By fortune, one of these friends became my mentor, with whom I worked with for a couple of years and helped me develop the skills that I have with photographic techniques and studio lighting for commercial issues.

While I was working in the advertising industry, my cousin (former professional FMX rider) suffered an accident which left him in a critical state of health. In that precise moment I came up with the idea of creating a new project, based on my cousin ́s accident and future. This familiar hardship made me realize that I needed some serious theoretical bases in my field, that specific situation conducted me to study out of my city and gave me the chance to learn about new cultures, scenarios, points of view and techniques.

Circa 2018, my desire to expand my knowledge and ideas, once again, forced me to leave home, this time to study abroad. I went to Barcelona and lived there for a whole year. During my stay I studied documentary photography, which gave me the skills to begin with bigger projects; this time with a critical author view. During that journey I had the fortune to work with local adapted and Paralympic sports athletes.

Currently I’m working on several projects related to these topics, my intention is to visualize, capture and synthetize stories, and make them become precious treasures for some families struggling with adversity. All this interest was triggered by my deep admiration for these people, they are the kind of people that don't know the limits and take achievement as a rule.
